Description
First UK edition, first impression (Gollancz, 1966). Publisher's original dark grey cloth with lettering to spine in gilt. Boards very nice and clean and free from bumping and marks; previous owner bookplate to front paste-down with their name to front endpaper; some browning to margins of p 154 & 155 from a bookmark, but contents are clean otherwise and free from foxing. The original and unclipped dust jacket comes complete with the rare wraparound band; a few tears to the edges of the lower panel and top of upper panel hinge with tape repairs to verso; edges a little abraded here and there. A very good copy indeed of what is widely considered to be one of the best and most influential science fiction novels ever written.
